Teen taken to hospital after flipping car

An area driver was charged with failure to control after he flipped his car last week.

Kaleb J. Leal, 18, of Clyde, was westbound negotiating a curve in the 2300 block of Mason Road about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. According to the Erie County Sheriff's Office, he went off the right side of the road, overturned and stopped in a private driveway.

North Central EMS transported Leal to Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky with minor injuries.

Lucky Towing and Recovery towed the 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier from the scene with disabling damage.
