Norwalk driver charged with DUI

Suspect has two prior DUI convictions.

A local driver who reportedly went left of center Sunday is accused of drunk driving.

Michael J. Williams, 24, of 4750 Old State Road, was charged with driving under the influence and going left of center in connection with a traffic stop on Hester Street near Ford Avenue in Norwalk. Trooper Thomas Halko, of the state Highway Patrol, made the stop at 12:19 a.m.

Williams' breath test had a blood alcohol content level of .140 percent, according to the patrol. The legal limit for drivers in Ohio is .08.

The suspect has two prior DUI convictions, from 2009 and 2010.
