this is such a joke... I see the Domino's stores in other communities being inspected < so why not in Norwalk??? Do we really think that it is far more imperative to inspect Norwalk Furniture Sewing Department for food violations, or how about Norwalk Furniture Office for food violations, than to inspect Norwalk Domino's Pizza, which I might add, had a picture of a worker , slicing a pizza without the use of any hand covering as he sliced the pizza, which comes as no surprise seeing that the owner has had his picture in the newspaper passing out slices of pizza, allowing people to grab a hold of their slices of pizza, and the slices of the ones next to theirs, and handling of those as well as he stood there without any hair restraints??? that seems to be where some major violations might be going on, and where the lack of food safety knowledge needs to be taught, and watched.. far more that any department at Norwalk Furniture... but then again, no one at Norwalk Furniture used to be a city Councilman.. and we all know that in Norwalk it is who you are and who you know....wink wink!!!

Norwalk Lifer

Did you read the article? Go ahead, I'll wait.

See that listing for Domino's in Norwalk? I know, I know, why let the facts get in the way.

swiss family

uuummmm maybe it is you who need to go back and read the article.. it says "Domino's Pizza 215 MYRTLE AVE WILLARD OHIO!!!!!!!!! NOT NORWALK OHIO>>>> YOU SHOULD NOTE THOUGH THAT THERE IS AGAIN NO ASSESSMENT OF NORWALKS DOMINO'S STORE.....I REST MY CASE

Norwalk Lifer

Keep reading genius.

Domino's Pizza; 81 E. Main St., Norwalk; Feb. 26, standard inspection -- No violations.

Dr. Information

swiss....can you read?

rbenn

No he cant he is going blind ( we all know what causes that now don't we)?

ladydye_5

I found the one for NORWALK OHIO too!

JACKEL

Yep !

Whoopball

Swiss, when will you stop spouting your insulting comments which bear no basis in reality? You bash a good corporate citizen and imply some illegal conspiracy before you even bothered to read the article. The restaurant was inspected and the inspectors are State employees reporting to Columbus. There is literally nothing to see here folks, move along. Swiss has just chosen to present another example of her knowledgable insight...wink wink!!!

swiss family

these are COUNTY jobs which do report to Columbus, but usually are based in the Norwalk area...so they have connections to Norwalk people and Norwalk friends and even family... is the vision getting clearer now???

benedict

Well Swiss family if it is anything like the Hair Salon business they have nothing to do with the county or favoritism. The lady "Inspector" used to come from Columbus. But FYI here is some info on the food inspectors and it looks like they come from Columbus also..

swiss family

again they might report to Columbus, BUT they are COUNTY employees, so they are usually from this county, and have to directly report to the county commissioners here in NORWALK so most of them live very close to, if not inside NORWALK!!! I remember for a very long time , Mr Roger Dixon was the county Health Inspector and lived and raised a wonderful family here in NORWALK>>> NOT COLUMBUS as you would have us believe...

shovelhead

Are you off of your Gdam meds?

AuntieEm

And furthermore the inspections in the factories are not only in the cafeterias but in the break areas. It is important to check the refrigerated vending machines for safe operating temperatures, microwaves for sanitation, and I would imagine even the ice and water machines for proper filter changes and cleanliness.

swiss family

you might be correct, there might be cafeterias inside some factories, but I know of plenty of people who have worked at the old Norwalk Furniture and the new and they will tell you and me that there is no such cafeteria in the style that you are referring to, there are vending machines with chips and cookies and life savers and gum etc, and it is important to monitor those I am sure,, but between those machines and an actual working restaurant, where the newspaper has had pictures of the owner giving out free pictures in a publicity photo, in total defiance to all of the health codes, then to show an actual employee working in the shop cutting a pizza also in violation to at least 2 critical violations to the health codes in the pictures, and then not to hit them up for an inspection>????? something seems odd here... all I can say is that someone seems to be hitting Berry's pretty hard and to NOT be hitting Domino's at all...why is that??? and if the newspaper had taken pictures of any of the ethnic restaurants doing good works in town but in violation of the health codes that were displayed that Domino's was, the Health would be on them like white on rice, as they should be.. so why is this not happening to Domino's???I smell a rat??? and of course this is all just my own opinion????

rbenn

OMG are you just jealous because your skills as an ex pizza maker have gone down the crapper? Or the possibility of oregano over exposer? Or maybe your just to damn stupid? Either way STFU make a pizza and relive old memories of your hailed pizza sculpting days. Cause the only person who cares about your comments is you. Pepperoni anyone?

ladydye_5

Dominos WAS INSPECTED....GO read thru it again....All of us saw it but YOU!

starryeyes83

Jesus Jumpin' Katey Christ access the F-ing website and look it up yourself.

It 's not that hard.

BTW: I found it , too. Not everything gets inspected every month. There are places of business which are not on there For FEBRUARY.

These reports are 3 months old.

swiss family

Wooops... there it is... in the immortal words of the legendary Rosanne Rosannadanna... "Never mind".....my bad lol

rbenn

Seems to me u owe Mr Wilde an apology

ladydye_5

Good thing you didn't pull the trigger, get someone fired or shut down over your "wooops".

swiss family

how could I get someone fired??? no one reads these opinion boards, and if they do, they do not put any credibility into them... and if you do, maybe you need to get a life...

togbert71

HAHAHA!! After all your stupidity all you can say "my bad"?! Like some 14 year old? You are such an ego manic fool! Oops..meant to call you a inconsiderate **s! MY BAD!!

swiss family

when I say "MY BAD" I am taking ownership of MY mistake...I do honestly believe that for some reason Domino's gets away with a lot of violations, I have actually never been inside their store, all I can base it on are pictures that they KNOW are being taken to go into the local NEWSPAPER.. so you would think at that time especially, they would obey every health code... but the guy cutting the pizza, without gloves is a clear violation, and the picture of Mr Wilde passing out pizza at the tax department without any hair restraint, or gloves or giving gloves to all of the people who were handling the pizza was a clear violation, obviously the health inspector was not there , but it makes one question if he knows the health codes and would call for some surprise inspections.... oh and rbenn for you to tell me I owe anyone an apology is priceless.. after all of the crap you have thrown my way...lolololol

freespeech1

Cause your a blithering idiot, and you made some really bad allegations to a local business owner that was wrong. Its not about me pizza boy! Its about you and your flapping gums.

swiss family

what does "blithering" mean??????

freespeech1

According to websters it means to talk foolishly ect. Look it up

Kottage Kat

He was giving free pizza to people waiting in line. Performing a public service, and a nice gesture. Good grief how many years ago was that???? Give us a date, please.
Go check on buildings that are in disrepair and alleyways with no street lights.
Thank you

swiss family

Kat, Please get back on your meds, what is with you??? you are nice to my face, then stab me in the back behind my back and attack me for no apparent reason??? even when someone is doing a good deed, health codes need to be followed, Imagine for a minute if it would have been any one of the "ethnic" restaurants in town handing out free foods, and by doing so, violating health codes, and even having a picture pasted on the pages of the paper for everyone to see... I know you would have gone ape poop crazy with your comments just the way you did when the certain virus was found in their restaurant and we all found out that that virus can only be transferred by people not washing their hands after using the bathroom.. I clearly remember your comments going on for months.. with no end in sight.. when in reality, any one of their food suppliers could have infected the food and the same supplier could have dropped off the same case of lettuce at Berry's or any other Restaurant.... wouldn't you agree that the health department ought to be concerned about that store???? OH and Thank you !!!!!and the date was April 15

Kottage Kat

Year??
1903 perhaps.
Wha Wha, stab u in the back, not only asking for clarification and further information.
you need to read I was quite nice, actually.
I see you are still President of the " I hate Kat" club. So glad they have you as their leader, your doing a wonderful job.
