They arrive in Norwalk to perform at the Huron County Fair.

Two years later or so, they're famous, fair board president Bob Morgan said.

The list has included names such as Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts and Hunter Hayes.

"We've had a big list of big names at the fair over the years, but they weren't big when they were here," Morgan said. "They seem to get really famous after they come to Norwalk."

The next person to perform here will be Tyler Farr, "an up-and-coming singer like we've been having in the past," Morgan said. "He's a good up-and-coming country singer."

Like others who've performed at the fair, officials will tell Farr he'll be famous two years after he performs Monday night, Aug. 11 in front of the grandstands. This year, the fair runs from Aug. 11 to 16.

Advance ticket sales will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 17 at the Fair Ground office. Ticket prices cost $12 for general admission, $18 for box seats and $20 for track seating. People will be able to purchase tickets over the phone, but the best seats will be given to those who show up in person for pre-sale, according to fair officials. The fairgrounds' phone number is (419) 668-0516.

A feature story about Farr was published recently in the Norwalk Reflector.
