Norwalk city council members offered a number of positive comments Monday involving the proposed Bar145° project.

On Saturday, Jeremy Fitzgerald from Bar145°, and Ken Russ, co-owner of Legends contractors, announced plans to open a Bar145° location in the former Bob Evans building on Milan Avenue.

Legends general contractors have built the Bar145° locations in Kent, Toledo and Columbus and will handle Norwalk as well.

Fitzgerald is part of the Toledo-based ownership group.

The Norwalk restaurant is expected to employ 30 full-time and 20 part-time people.

The next step in the development is for Norwalk city council to approve a job creation grant agreement for Bar145°.

Council members shared their thoughts on the grant and business for a story published recently in the Norwalk Reflector.
