NORWALK FIRE

n Found nothing during the investigation of a strong chemical smell at 11:24 a.m. Thursday near 270 Milan Ave. Returned to station at 12:09 p.m.

n Assisted North Central EMS with getting a cot into 27 Parsons St. before being called to another incident at 1:01 p.m. Thursday. Returned to station at 1:05.

n Responded to a three-vehicle collision at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of U.S. 250 and Scranton Road. The occupants were out of the vehicles upon arrival and being treated by North Central EMS. Returned to station at 2:44.

NORWALK POLICE

n Michelle J. Ganzhorn, 22, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on 11 warrants Thursday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. The original convictions were underage consumption, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and a loud noise violation. She was taken directly to Norwalk Municipal Court for a hearing.

n A Norwalk High School employee reported an unruly student Thursday.

n An area motorist reported an elderly male hit the rear bumper of her 1997 Honda Accord while trying to park behind her car which was parked at the post office Thursday. The man backed up and left before the complainant could get his license plate number.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

n A South Railroad Street, Collins, resident reported telephone harassment Thursday.

n Robin A. Aumend, 35, of 321 S. U.S. 250, New London, was arrested on six warrants during a U.S. 224, Greenwich, traffic stop Thursday. She was charged with four counts of passing bad checks and two counts of failure to report to jail. Aumend is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

n Dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call about an Ohio 60, Wakeman, domestic incident Thursday.

n A Seminary Road resident reported receiving a suspicious telephone call Thursday.

n A U.S. 224, Willard, business employee reported someone broke into several vehicles Thursday.

n An Old State Road, North Fairfield, resident reported the unauthorized use of her debit card account number Thursday.

n A West U.S. 224, New Haven, business employee reported a hit-skip accident in the parking lot Thursday.

n The Plymouth Police Department received a report from the brother of an Ohio 61, Plymouth, resident who was threatening to commit suicide Thursday.

n A Huron County Children’s Service employee requested to speak to a supervising deputy about the emergency removal of a minor at an undisclosed location Thursday.

n Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation Thursday on East Main Street.

n An Arcade Road resident reported the suspected violation of a protection order Thursday. The suspect later was heading west on Zenobia Road in a black 2008 Chevrolet Impala.

n The Sandusky post of the state Highway Patrol reported having Jennifer S. Christopher, 31, of 21 Westwood Drive, New London, in custody on a local warrant. She was charged with failure to report to jail on the original conviction of possession of drug paraphernalia. Christopher is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.
