Loy excels at Willard Mercy

WILLARD Shelli Loy, pharmacy manager at Mercy Hospital of Willard, recently completed the doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) program at The Ohio State University. According to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy, only 20 percent of all licensed pharmacists in the state of Ohio have completed the PharmD program. Loy has been a member of the Mercy family for six years. "We are proud of Shelli for her accomplishments throughout her career with Mercy Willard," said Bob Gospodarek, president and CEO of Mercy Hospital of Willard. "We are especially excited about her completion of the PharmD program, as it will enhance the already excellent quality of care our pharmacists provide to our patients." The evolution of the pharmacy profession toward the provision of patient-focused pharmaceutical care requires a high level of clinical knowledge and skill on the part of practitioners. It is important to Mercy Willard to have high qualified professionals, like Shelli, on the Mercy Willard staff.
