A local organization that supports people facing life threatening illness is in the running to win a grand prize of $25,000 through a contest put on by Staples.

The "Make Your Idea Happen" contest invites entrepreneurs to "share their ideas for a chance to receive all the products and services they need to succeed," states a press release.

"Staples now has more products and more ways to shop to help small businesses make their big idea happen," said Steve Fund, senior vice president, marketing, Staples. "The Make Your Idea Happen contest is another way we are helping them succeed."

The Piggyback Foundation in Norwalk is one of the entrants. A crew from Staples recently filmed footage of The Piggyback Foundation's retail and resale store, When Pigs Fly at 31 E. Main St. in Norwalk.

A story about this subject was published in a recent issue of the Norwalk Reflector. Lisa is absolutely amazing. I hope they win. My family is so grateful for all they have done to help us out and I'm sure all the other families are as well.
