Despite a shortage in personnel, the Norwalk Police Department accomplished a great deal in 2013.

Chief David Light stressed that fact Monday while discussing the department's annual report.

A story about this subject, including highlights and statistics from last year, was published in Tuesday's Norwalk Reflector.

Serve & protect. Norwalk is fortunate to have a great L.E. group.

Totally agree kURTje. We are truly blessed to have such a fine group of men & women protecting us.

You'd never have known that if you were in the Bluto's area on the weekend. My date said "I've never seen so many cops in one area before". Did he discuss the one that jumps out of the car and goes crazy?

So use to doing less with more this is all so new to the chief. Not fair give them more money. The Norwalk soap opera continues playing.

LE in every area is doing more with less. Norwalk, Sandusky, Willard and the list goes on and on. Now touch local fire departments money or tell them they have to do more with less and watch the guns come out a blazing.
