The Huron County Sheriff's Office has received four sex-related complaints within four days.

Detective Kayla Zander is handling several of the cases, but sheriff's officials weren't available for comment Sunday.

The first sex-related complaint was reported at 10:58 a.m. Tuesday. Deputies received a report classified as "sex offenses/pandering obscenity" from Western Reserve Elementary School.

Detective Bill Duncan said the suspected incident happened outside of school.

"It was a disclosure to school personnel and we were notified," said Duncan, who isn't handling the case.

The detective noted that Western school officials have been good at notifying the sheriff's office lately about incidents that could be crimes so deputies or detectives can handle the investigations.

The second sex-related complaint came in at 11:32 a.m. Wednesday. A Perrin Road resident reported suspected gross sexual imposition.

At 7:38 p.m. that same day, deputies received the report of a possible rape at an undisclosed location.

The fourth and most recent suspected sex offense, classified as a rape, was reported at 2:18 p.m. Friday. Duncan said the possible offense happened in the 1000 block of Greenwich Milan Townline Road.

Details about each case weren't available.
