n Investigated a report that a snowmobile was left on private property posted no trespassing with a broken ski.

n Investigated a report an unauthorized entry into a building under construction in Wakeman.

n Investigated menacing and threats made to a mobile home resident in Greenwich on Saturday.

n Investigated an accident on private property in near Willard on Saturday.

n Investigated a report of a suspicious vehicle on Lovern Lane near Norwalk on Saturday.

n Investigated an alarm at a Greenwich address Monday.

n Investigated a report of a burglary in Collins.

n Investigated report of damage by four-wheelers in a wheat field in rural Norwalk.

n Investigated a report of menacing from a Huron County resident who threatened harm to a neighboring farmer if the farmer didn’t stop spraying the man’s field.

n Investigated theft from a company in Willard after several vehicles were entered and items were taken.

n Investigated a complaint of trespass in Greenwich by four-wheelers.

n Investigated an alarm from an address on Ridge Road in Norwalk.

n Investigated an alarm from an address on Cole Creek Lane in Norwalk.

n Responded to a report of an unruly juvenile on Cook Road in New London.

NORWALK POLICE

n Amelita D. Van Natta, 51, of 193 Whittlesey Ave., was charged Monday with improper backing after she struck a vehicle driven by Lisa M. Lesch, 28, of 175 Tucker Ave., while backing out of a diagonal parking space on Main Street.

n Investigated theft of identity charges after a Baneberry Lane resident reported unauthorized charges on a company credit card.

n Charged Dale E. Wheeler, 69, of 57 Baker St., Apt. 47, with cruelty to animals after a caller said he was trapping cats and possibly killing and disposing of them.

n Arrested Robert H. Long, 42, of 37. N. Linwood Ave., on four warrants from Norwalk Municipal Court including charges of driving while intoxicated, driving without a license, contempt of court and aggravated menacing and disorderly conduct.

n Assisted North Central EMS and the fire department with a call to a Pitt Street home for an unresponsive male.

n Charged two Norwalk High School students, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, with delinquency after school officials reported a fight near the end of the school day Monday. Police said the high school issued a notice of a five-day suspension because of the schools no-tolerance policy for violence.

n Took a bike abandoned on Cline Street into custody.

n Located an 18-year-old woman after her father reported she was suicidal and had left her home of foot. Officers found the woman and took her to Fisher-Titus Medical Center for evaluation.

NORWALK FIRE

n Investigated an electrical problem at an Elm Street Home on Monday, but found no fire hazards. Reported to the scene at 9:15 p.m. and returned to the station at 9:36.

n Assisted NCEMS with a patient on Republic Street. Arrived at 4:35 p.m. and returned at 4:42.

n Assisted NCEMS with a patient on Pitt Street. Arrived at 2:11 p.m. and returned at 2:40.

n Investigated a carbon monoxide problem on Third Street and found no problem. Arrived at 10:33 a.m. and returned at 10:45.

n Assisted NCEMS with basic life support at a Sixth Street address. Arrived at 9:55 p.m. and returned at 10:21 Monday.

n Assisted in a vehicle accident on Elm Street today. Arrived at 6:47 a.m. and returned 6:54.

MONROEVILLE POLICE

n Robert Lee Barton, of Two Rivers, Wisc., was charged with failing to yield right of way after he ran a red light at the intersection of Ohio 99 and U.S. 20 and hit a vehicle driven by Norbert Didion, of Bellevue. A Monroeville officer found Didion at the crash site and talked to him and a witness, then discovered Barton’s truck further down the road.
