3 drivers cited with DUI in 3 days

Troopers with the state Highway Patrol cited three motorists with driving under the influence in connection with separate traffic stops in three days.

Skylre L. Vanmeter, 20, of 135 1/2 Whittlesey Ave., was stopped by Trooper William Howard at 3:09 a.m. Feb. 15 on Old State Road near Macintosh Road in the Bellevue area. She was charged with DUI, a marked lanes violation and failure to reinstate.

Vanmeter had a breath test with a blood-alcohol content level of .122 percent, according to the trooper's report. The legal limit for drivers in Ohio is .08.

Todd A. Warnick, 29, of 1 S. Hamilton St., Monroeville, was stopped by Howard on Benedict Avenue near Executive Drive at 3:46 a.m. Feb. 16. He was charged with DUI and a marked lanes violation.

Warnick's BAC tested at .09, according to the trooper's report.

William H. Wilson III, 18, of 4305 Delematre Road, Monroeville, was stopped and cited for speeding in connection with a traffic stop at 4:13 p.m. Feb. 17. Sgt. Brian Gockstetter clocked him going 71 mph in a 60-mph zone on U.S. 20 near Norwalk.

Wilson also was charged with DUI and possession of marijuana. The results of his urine sample are pending.
