HIGHWAY PATROL Josh Boldman, 19, of rural Norwalk, was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control last Wednesday after losing control on Zenobia Road. Randy L. Johnson, 53, of New Haven, was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after an accident on Ohio 61 Wednesday. Anne M. Dapore, 50, of North Fairfield was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after a one-car accident Thursday on New State Road.

HIGHWAY PATROL

Josh Boldman, 19, of rural Norwalk, was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control last Wednesday after losing control on Zenobia Road.

Randy L. Johnson, 53, of New Haven, was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after an accident on Ohio 61 Wednesday.

Anne M. Dapore, 50, of North Fairfield was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after a one-car accident Thursday on New State Road.

Megan E. Davis, 27, of Huron, was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control on Thursday after a one-car accident on Hartland Center Road.

Misty D. King, 22, of Mansfield, was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control after a one-car accident on Ohio 103.

James Mesenberg, 47, of Collins was charged with a signal light violation after running a red light at the corner of Ohio 61 and Ohio 601 Friday. He hit a car driven by Donald G. Goins, 46, of Seville.

Christopher P. Lovelace, 22, of Monroeville, was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and driving with no license after an accident on Ohio 99 on Friday. He was taken to Fisher-Titus Medical Center by North Central EMS.

Kenneth W. Whidden, 53, of 75 Newton Street, Norwalk, had an accident on Ohio 99 because of downed wire from an earlier accident Friday. He was not charged with any traffic violations.

Matthew J. Blymyer, 42, of Clyde, was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control on Friday after an accident on Ohio 20.

Patti Jo Loffredo, 51, of Plymouth was charged with operating a vehicle without reasonable control on Friday after an accideent on Ohio 61.

Rodney L. Fisher, 39, of Huron hit a deer on Saturday on Ohio 601.

Randall S. Houghtlen, of 93 Woodlawn Ave., Norwalk, hit a deer on Ohio 61 Sunday.

NORWALK FIRE

Assisted North Central EMS with medical assistance at a Norwood Avenue address Friday. Firefighters reported to the scene at 10:42 p.m. and returned to the station at 10:58.

Assisted NCEMS with a call to Parsons Street on Saturday. Firefighters reported to the scene at 6:21 a.m. and returned to the station at 6:30.

Put out a chimney fire on Townsend on Saturday. Firefighters reported to the scene at 3:27 p.m. and found fire damage in the wall behind the chimney. Returned to the station at 5 p.m.

Investigated a possible carbon monoxide leak on Marshall Street Saturday. Firefighters arrived at the scene aat 9:16 p.m. and returned to the station at 9:30 p.m.

Assisted NCEMS with a call to Westwind Drive on Sunday at 2:36 p.m. Sunday. Returned to the station at 2:51 p.m.

Investigated a fire alarm on an Ohio 20 business Sunday and found water leaking onto the alarm. Firefighters arrived at the scene at 4:43 p.m. and returned to the station at 5:02 p.m.

Assisted NCEMS with basic life support for a patient on Sixth Street at 9:55 p.m. Sunday. Returned to the station at 10:21.

NORWALK POLICE

Arrested Matthew Hallon, 29, and turned him over to the custody of Erie County deputies for a parole violation on Friday.

Arrested Aaron Vanderpool, 20, on Friday when he turned himself into Willard Police on a Norwalk Municipal Court warrant for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Investigated theft from a motor vehicle inpounded by police for the owner's failure to prove financial responsibility.

Investigated a burglary on Patrician Drive. Officers reported a window was broken and a screen door was damaged, but no items were missing.

Arrested Artemio Morales Perez, 27, at a Jefferson Street address for disorderly conduct by intoxication and later released him to a sober person.

Investigated a complaint that a green Chevrolet truck was turfing the lawn on the south side of the reservoir on Sunday. Officers stopped a driver of a truck splattered with fresh mud on the north side of the reservoir and will pass on a report to the city law director for possible charges of criminal mischief.

Picked up Kevin Lewis, 21, from Cleveland police on contempt charges through Norwalk Municipal Court because he had not filed proof of sex offender counseling required. He will be held at the Huron County Jail for 10 days.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Investigated a report of a loose cow Friday on Derussey Road in Collins. Deputies found the owner and reported the cow's location.

Received a call from a woman reporting her husband was intoxicated in their North Fairfield home on Friday. The husband requested an officer come to the residence, but later left the home.

Transported a subject from Willard to Sandusky police Friday after a warrant was found for his arrest.

Investigated a report of an unruly juvenile and possible runaway Friday from a Wakeman mobile home park. The juvenile's mother later reported her son had returned home.

Investigated a report of a lost cell phone in North Fairfield.

Transported a subject from the Crawford County Jail to the Huron County Jail because of an active warrant.

Investigated a Bellevue address after a 9-1-1 call and hangup. Deputies discovered a problem with the phone.

Investigated a complaint from a phone company employee in Willard that a customer was agitated when told he was responsible for damage and requesting deputies' assistance.

Investigated the report of a vehicle in a ditch on Ohio 103 in Willard on Friday.

Arrested Dustin Myers,18, on a warrant Friday and transported him to the jail.

Investigated the possible theft of a dog in New London Friday.

Investigated the report of a sick racoon on Lais Road Friday.

Investigated a report of a suspicious person in Willard.

Checked on a Wakeman address when a person requested assistance Friday.

Investigated an alarm that went off in Willard.

Investigated a vehicle accident on Willard.

Investigated a report of a missing juvenile Saturday from a Wakeman mobile home park. Deputies later found the juvenile walking down a road and took the juvenile into custody.

Charged a suspect with driving under suspension on Ohio 103 in Willard on Sunday.

Investigated a report of menancing and threats on Sunday on Jericho Road in Norwalk.

Investigated a report of an assaulton Ohio 205 in New London on Sunday.

Investigated theft of a vehicle from a home on Plank Road in Norwalk on Sunday.

Investigated an alarm for a building on New State Road in Norwalk on Sunday.
