The Summit County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-car accident Tuesday afternoon that killed a 75-year-old woman.

According to the deputies, the woman was driving a 2007 Chrysler 300 eastbound on West Turkeyfoot Lake Road about 3:45 p.m., when she went left of center and hit a 2004 Saturn Vue.

The driver of the Chrysler, a woman from Green, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Saturn, a 33-year-old Akron man, was transported to Akron General Medical Center by the Green Fire Department with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, the report for the sheriff’s office said.
