Average retail gasoline prices in Ohio have risen 12.8 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.41 per gallon Sunday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 5,345 gas outlets in Ohio. This compares with the national average that has increased 1.6 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.28 per gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
Including the change in gas prices in Ohio during the past week, prices Sunday were 15.5 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are unchanged versus a month ago. The national average has decreased 1.9 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 26.8 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
At 10 a.m. today, nine of Norwalk's 10 gas stations were selling regular unleaded gasoline for $3.45 per gallon. The exception was Circle K, at 211 Cleveland Road at the Old State Road intersection, where gasoline cost $3.43 per gallon.
