Hazardous weather outlook for Huron County

UPDATED at 4 p.m. Monday: The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued the following special weather statement Monday afternoon for Huron County and the surrounding areas:

...WIND CHILLS AROUND 10 DEGREES BELOW ZERO EXPECTED TONIGHT... TONIGHT TEMPERATURES WILL DROP TO BETWEEN ZERO AND 5 DEGREES BELOW ZERO. ALTHOUGH WINDS WILL BE LIGHT...THE WIND CHILLS ARE EXPECTED TO DROP TO AROUND 10 DEGREES BELOW ZERO FOR A FEW HOURS TONIGHT. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO VENTURE OUT TONIGHT DRESS WARMLY...IN LAYERS...AND BE SURE THAT ALL EXPOSED SKIN IS COVERED.

UPDATED at 10 a.m. Monday: Huron County Sheriff Dane Howard has lifted all snow level emergencies for Huron County until further notice.

These snow emergency levels are ridiculous. No level issued this morning when it was worse out there than during the level three last week. What idiots are in charge of this stupid system? And do we even need the government telling us when and when not to drive?

I think they got too much Flack from the factories. I bet they don't call another one. What they need to remember though is just because school is not in on the weekends, does not mean that we don't need the roads plowed, a lot of us have to get to work on the weekends!!
