NORWALK POLICE

n A Bouscay Avenue resident reported telephone harassment Thursday.

n Jeritt L. Tackett, 31, of 4238 Pleasant St., Willard, was arrested on two warrants Thursday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs and failure to report to jail. The original charges were underage consumption and voluntary intoxication. Tackett is serving a 20-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

n Was advised of a private property crash at a Milan Avenue business Thursday.

n A Woodlawn Avenue resident reported an unauthorized charge on her credit card over the Internet as of Thursday. After a brief investigation, police determined it was a misunderstanding between the company and the complainant.

n Heidi M. Russell, 22, of 37D Bouscay Ave., was arrested on two warrants Thursday and charged with failure to pay fines and costs. She is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE

n A Gibbs Road resident reported a barking dog complaint Thursday.

n An Ohio 60, New London, resident requested an ambulance for an elderly man who fell out of bed Thursday.

n A Franklin County business employee requested assistance Thursday on Cook Road, New London, in picking up a foster child placement. The girl had barricaded herself in her room with other children who refused to leave.

n A Plymouth East Road, Plymouth, resident reported a trespassing incident Thursday.

n Dispatchers were advised of an alarm activation Thursday at Richmond Elementary School.

NORWALK FIRE

n Responded to a two-vehicle collision at 8:08 a.m. Thursday the intersection of U.S. 250 and Townline Road 151, where the occupants were out of both vehicles and North Central EMS was handling patient care. Returned to station at 9:19.

n Responded to an alarm activation at 5:05 p.m. Thursday at 80 Whittlesey Ave. Firefighters found a pipe on the sprinkler system apparently had frozen and thawed, setting off the alarm. A technician is expected to check it to determine the problem. Returned to station at 5:24.

n Assisted North Central EMS with lifting a patient at 6:34 p.m. Thursday at 13 Minard Place. Returned to station at 6:42.
