With Ohio’s primary just weeks away, several Ohio Democratic officials have recently endorsed either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama in the presidential race.

But Norwalk Mayor Sue Lesch said she won’t jump on the endorsement bandwagon for either candidate because still hasn’t made up her mind who she will vote for on March 4.

“They’re both good,” Lesch said. “I’m waiting for them to come to Ohio. I’m listening and learning like everyone else.”

Lesch said the Democrats can’t go wrong with either candidate.

“I’m proud that the Democratic party has the first viable woman candidate for president and the first viable black candidate,” she said. “Either one would be a good choice.”

The Akron Beacon-Journal reported that Clinton’s campaign staff distributed a list of about 100 current and former office holders from Ohio that have endorsed the New York senator. Clinton and her daughter, Chelsea, had four campaign stops scheduled this week in Ohio.

Obama has gotten endorsements from several Ohio politicians, but a spokesman for his office said Clinton has more support from the political establishment in the state, according to the Beacon-Journal story.

Before now, few local public officials had made presidential endorsements.

If I was voting democrat it sure would not be for Barack Hussein Obama....I would never vote for anyone with a Muslim name and a Muslim heritage to be president of the USA!

KIZOR...That is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard. First of all Obama is not muslim or from Muslim decent so I think you should get your facts straight. He is a member of the United Church of christ. The reason why you should not vote for Obama (and Hillary for that matter) is the massive increase in taxes we will see and the chance that we could move to Universal Health Care. I am not sure about you but I could not imagine the Government trying to run healthcare for the entire country they have a hard enough time running the country as it is.

I agree, I have no intention of voting for either dem for those reasons you cited....but if you don't think Obama has a Muslim family history you are saddly mistaken...he may belong to the Church of Christ now but his childhood, parents and grandparents involved Muslim teachings and faith...that in itself is enough for me.

swiss family

lets assume just for a minute that you might be right, Kizor.. suppose that Obama' family has muslim roots.. i have german and irish roots.. does that mean that i will be like all germans and irishmen, everywhere??? probably not.. in fact you can trace every Americans roots back to some other country and culture.. so who should be our leader now??? and as far as his name is concerned.. i'm sure that no one discussed what his name would be with him, just as no one discussed with you, your given name!!!it was all your parents doing.. so , give the guy a break..

i'm thinking that you are setting it up, so that you can complain for the next 4 years, or possibly 8.. you are seeing the writing on the wall, and you realize that it will come down to McCain, Clinton, or Obama.. and you have stated your displeasure with all of them, so now, no matter who wins, you can proudly tell everyone who will be trapped in your pressence long enough, how you tried to warn everyone.. but no one would listen... you are like all of those geniuses, who when they see someone doing something dangerous, you feel it is your duty to tell them to "be careful" that waym when they get hurt, you can brag tio everyone that yopu did tell them to "be careful" but they just didn't listen!!!
