Two hotels in Norwalk have earned one of the highest accolades that AAA offers to the hospitality industry -- the Four Diamond Award.

"Four and Five Diamond hotels provide guests with a personalized experience and attentive service in comfortable, high quality surroundings," said Jim Lehman, AAA East Central president.

"These establishments consistently exceed the expectations of the most discriminating traveler -- the AAA inspector. We are proud to have these dedicated businesses in our region."

Hotels rated Four or Five Diamond are stylish and refined with upscale physical attributes. Guests receive personalized attention from an experienced staff and extensive amenities in a luxurious setting. Norwalk hotels receiving the AAA Four Diamond Rating include:

Georgia Manor Inn, 123 W. Main St., a Four Diamond hotel since 2000;

The Victorian Lady, 175 W. Main St., a Four Diamond hotel since 2012.

Establishments at the Four Diamond rating level make up just 5.3 percent of the more than 29,000 AAA/CAA Approved hotels. Across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, these select properties represent the upper echelon of the hospitality industry.

AAA rates more properties than any other rating entity, covering the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. AAA offers the only ratings based on professional, on-site evaluations using published guidelines weighted by member priorities.
