Huron County Sheriff Dane Howard downgraded the Level 2 snow emergency to a Level 1.
On Saturday morning, Howard issued a Level 3, meaning motorists are ordered to remain off the roads. He downgraded the snow emergency to a Level 2 at 12:49 p.m. Saturday. The Level 2 remained in effect Sunday and Monday.
Under a Level 2, roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may be icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the road. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work.
In Ohio, there are three levels of snow emergency, with a Level 1 being the mildest. Howard made it a Level 1 on Tuesday.
