Award-winning chef Brian Polcyn and Dr. Raj Karnik took center stage Saturday at the Huron Country Heart Health Coalition as they presented the “Go Red for Women — A fun and Educational Benefit Luncheon” at the St. Paul Parish Center.
Karnik, a member of the Fisher-Titus Medical Center’s staff, talked about the signs of a heart attack, what to look for and the difference between heart attacks in men and women.
Polcyn offered a “heart healthy” cooking demonstration and served his creation for lunch.
Everyone in attendance was asked to wear red in honor of the event. A video accompanying this story shares highlights from the event.
