A number of emergency responders were called to the scene of a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Whittlesey Road, just north of the city limits.

Both drivers ended up being charged, according to Huron County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Ted Patrick.

The crash occurred at 11:24 a.m.

Blaine Butler, 35, of Norwalk, was charged with going left of center and driving under suspension after his vehicle, which was traveling southbound on Whittlesey Road, collided with a northbound vehicle being driven by Bernardino Broca, 35, of Norwalk.

Patrick said Broca was charged with no operator's license.

Butler was transported from the scene by North Central EMS to Fisher-Titus Medical Center, where he was treated and released, Patrick said.

Patrick said an unidentified passenger in Broca's vehicle was also transported by North Central EMS to Fisher-Titus, where the passenger was treated and released.

The Norwalk Fire Department also responded.
