Authorities are seeking a Plymouth woman accused of hitting a woman with a beer bottle who apparently showed "some interest" in the suspect's ex-boyfriend.

Lora L. Garcia, 44, of 4273 Ohio 98, is charged with felonious assault, which is punishable by two to eight years in prison. Prosecutors filed the second-degree felony against her Monday in Norwalk Municipal Court, prompting a warrant being issued for her arrest, according to court records.

The Huron County Sheriff's Office received an anonymous 9-1-1 at 12:18 a.m. Saturday about two women who were accused of fighting at the Willard American Legion. Chief Deputy Ted Patrick said deputies responded to 3096 Ohio 99, Willard, and contacted one of the female subjects, Jessica C. Blue, 26, of 424 Spring St., Willard.

"She was bleeding from the head and had a cut on her eye. She said she was hit by a beer bottle," Patrick said. "She (Blue) was inebriated and somewhat combative."

Blue was charged with disorderly conduct by intoxication in connection with being "loud and boisterous," he said.

The woman first went to Fisher-Titus Medical Center for treatment of her injuries. Patrick said the suspected victim received several stitches on her head and then was transported to the Huron County Jail.

Deputies attempted to find Garcia.

"She had left prior to our arrival," Patrick said. "Attempts to locate her that evening failed."

The chief deputy credited witnesses with filling in some gaps for the suspected sequence of events. Patrick said witnesses reported there was an altercation between Blue and Garcia in which Garcia reportedly hit the other woman with a beer bottle.

"The altercation started over Miss Garcia's ex-boyfriend (whom) Miss Blue was showing some interest in," Patrick added.

It's unknown how, or if, the two women know each other.

Norwalk Assistant Law Director Scott Christophel declined to comment on the case.

You are glad her mom taught her to never take crap from someone? Seriously? Her mother should have taught her that hitting someone with a beer bottle isn't lady like at all. Do you honestly think her actions are justified? What if the 26 year old had died? Or does your brain only function on one speed? The only time someone has the right to hit someone else is if they are defending themselves. Last I knew, a 26 year old showing "interest" in someone's ex-boyfriend does not imply that Lora was defending herself. She made her own choices and she may be a lovely, caring, and wonderful person but the fact is she assaulted someone. Its plain and simple. Since she is such a great friend of yours, maybe you can help her pay for the other girls medical bills! ;)

I'm wondering why a MARRIED woman is fighting over an "ex boyfriend"

I know Lora personally, and honesty she is not a caring, loving person AT ALL. She harasses others when she doesn't get her way, she tends to stalk & send threatening text messages, and she likes to make scenes of stuff that should not even matter. She harrassed my family for over a year, and we were all scared. I truly believe she is mentally unstable, and needs to be checked into a psych-ward. But then again, jail time sounds pretty good too.

You hit the "beer bottle on the head" haha with that one! Lora Garcia is the farthest thing from a nice and caring person!!! She tormented our family as well! She sees nothing wrong with encouraging her children to do it as well! Maybe she should do a jail house painting called the many faces of Lora Garcia! The judge has no idea what a crackerjack box that she is!!! It's not just the toy that's missing...the carmel corn is too! Cuz she's flippin' NUTS!

I've heard of **several** who have been tormented by her. What the Heck?! She needs to be locked up. Wish all who have had problems with her would find one another and testify against her.

Yall Make Me Sick

Opinions are like butt holes & everyone has one. I feel how I feel & you feel your. It's ok we don't all have to agree it's not a big deal. Stop crying over spilled milk. It's nobody's business but hers what she does & how she pays for actions it's up to the judge not anyone on this page. If you don't like what people have to say on comments on here stop reading them. Relax your not her or the other girl move along on to the next story. Good day. What's your prison #? I'd like to come be your ray of sunshine!!!

Do you do drugs? I'm just curious.

Jessica C. Blue, 25, was placed on one year of probation Aug. 3 after pleading guilty to one count of theft, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. Wonder what someone on Probation for felonies is doing drunk in a bar to begin with~!?

Everyone is fam...

Please explain to me why we need to move on from this story because we are neither person in the article? I have seen you on articles quite frequently commenting, which is fine...but what makes this one so off limits? As far as I know, you weren't featured in every article you've commented on. She made the paper, and just like every other article there will be comments that others post that friends and family will not like. I'm afraid I can't give you a prison # since one for me does not exist, but it sounds like you know someone who is on her way. As far as the other people that said they know this woman, I don't find your comments off base at all. I've heard similar stalking stories about her and it wasn't until this article that I realized Just Like Nora, Lora, and stalking stories were related.

It's nice seeing someone else that thinks like I do! I don't have a prison # either. I guess that is because I know right from wrong and have kids that need me. I think that some people forget that when you have kids, the kids come first not a man or even them self. Priorities aren't some peoples strong suits.

Jessica C. Blue, 25, was placed on one year of probation Aug. 3 after pleading guilty to one count of theft, a fourth-degree felony, and one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony in Crawford County. Hmmnn wonder why a Felon was drunk in a Bar in the First Place~? I Do

Trying to justify this woman's actions by saying she was being territorial has got to be one of the funniest, yet lamest excusse I've come across in a while... especially considering he is her EX... I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that he called quits on the relationship and she has yet to get over it and move on... in her head, if she can't have him, no one can... I believe the term most often associated wih this is psycho... if you're in a healthy happy relationship then you actually don't have to be territorial... and if you aren't in a relationship with the person then there is nothing to be territorial over... Fighting because you're jealous (and that's all territorial is) is 1. Childish and 2. Is not a jester of love 3. Not at all worth it!

Why is it you think being territorial only has to do with another female? Jealousy is childish, and not a jester of love....i completely agree! And I never justified anything for this woman. She is obliviously off her rocker to hit someone with anything. But being territorial is having an attachment to something or in this case someone, and not letting a thing come between the two of you. That doesn't always have to be about another woman. And imho being territorial is not an unhealthy thing

No man is with prison time? Lmbo! Do you not understand that being territorial is part of a womans trait. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but you do not mess with a womans man, or children. I would kill for my man. Not saying that in this story he is hers, but only replying to your ignorant comment. Apparently you don't have someone worth fighting for. Sorry for you.". Just thought maybe if you saw both your posts together you would see what some of us see.

Wiki....Territorial: In ethology, the term territory refers to any sociographical area that an animal of a particular species consistently defends against conspecifics (and, occasionally, animals of other species). Animals that defend territories in this way are referred to as territorial.

Territoriality is only shown by a minority of species. More commonly, an individual or a group of animals will have an area that it habitually uses but does not necessarily defend; this is called the home range. The home ranges of different groups of animals often overlap, and in the overlap areas, the groups will tend to avoid each other rather than seeking to expel each other. Within the home range there may be a core area that no other individual group uses, but, again, this is as a result of avoidance rather than defense.

Territorial: ter·ri·to·ri·al [ter-i-tawr-ee-uh l, -tohr-]

1. of or pertaining to territory or land.
2. of, pertaining to, associated with, or restricted to a particular territory or district; local.
3. pertaining or belonging to the territory of a state or ruler.
4. (of an animal) characterized by territoriality; defending an area against intruders, especially of the same species.
5. (often initial capital letter) of or pertaining to a territory of the U.S.
6.(initial capital letter) Military. organized on a local basis for home defense.

Maybe that's the reason I am not territorial....I'm not a land or animal. Maybe you should use another word instead of territorial. ;)

Stay classy ladies!

JN, I went back and reread your comments and you did indeed attempt to justify her actions. I didn't say you condoned what she did... The two are different. You also stated that being territorial is a woman's trait and the context in which you used the word was the same as jealousy. I just can't bring myself to be so possessive over another human being. Motherly and protective over my kids, yes, but not territorial. A man, never. If I feel like I've got to fight to keep something from coming inbetween me and my guy then probably don't want or need him. I sure wouldn't kill for a guy... And for the record, I have a great guy. He is an awesome dad, he works hard, and loves unconditionally, and I love him dearly... And I still wouldn't fight or kill for him. But then again, I know I don't have to...

I was there and saw Lora was attacked. What.. is the Norwalk Reflector trying to keep up with the National Enquirer? If so it could end up in new hands. Thank God everyone has nick names on here because slander can be very expensive and if you want to read some true reading check out Jessica Blue and her boyfriend Forest Osbourne (whom she has some interest in) on the Crawford County criminal records. Now that...is to be continued I am sure.

You need to look up slander and laws. First of all slander is spoken words. Second, libel would be the proper term. Third, it is KNOWINGLY spreading false information that could hurt a person's reputation. If you consult with any attorney they will tell you that slander and libel are difficult to prove. No one on here is in any danger of libel as we are commenting on what is presented as fact. Now I'm sure the other parties are not great characters, but if you witnessed Lora being attacked did you give your statement to the police? The article states that witnessed basically pegged Lora guilty. Just curious.

Reading the comments on the reflector is like watching Jerry Springer.

Slander is very hard to prove, and it goes both ways. Who's gonna pay for her actions, the state of course like everything else she gets? I KNOW!!!!!
