Norwalk Mayor Rob Duncan will not accept a pay raise in 2014.

City council will consider legislation at Tuesday's work session that will freeze the mayor's salary.

Duncan, who earns $64,260 annually plus benefits, did accept a 2-percent pay hike in 2013, as did all city employees.

However, according to the legislation, the mayor's position had declined a pay raise for several years prior to 2013.

A story about this subject was published in Monday's Norwalk Reflector.
