He was also declared a Tier II sex offender, which requires him to register every 180 days for the next 25 years.

The investigation began in September with the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. A task force investigator working to identify people who possessed and shared pornography using peer-to-peer software identified images alleged to be child pornography downloaded to an IP address assigned to a subscriber at the Howards Creek address, according to court records.

Butler County Sheriff’s Deputies were notified and obtained a search warrant to seize the computer. While at the residence, Snyder confessed to having photographs of minors on his computer, according to investigators.

According to court records, the images included pre-pubescent children in various states of nudity, one as young as 4, engaging in sex acts with an adult.
