Prosecutors are reviewing the report of a 19-year-old Newton Street woman who was caught "huffing" refrigerant out of a central air conditioning unit.

"There were three witnesses who wanted to be witnesses, but it looks like there were others," Norwalk Police Capt. Mike Conney said.

Police responded to a Bouscay Avenue apartment at 10:28 p.m. Saturday. Officers were at the scene about 30 minutes to investigate the incident that reportedly happened outside.

"She was supposed to be watching some children," Conney said about an 8-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl.

The woman didn't get sick from the suspected huffing incident. Her possible level of addiction is unknown.

"She appeared to be confused, which is one of the symptoms. She didn't require any medical attention," Conney said. "I don't know if there is any kind of physical addiction (possible) whatsoever."

After investigating the report, police forwarded the report to the Norwalk Law Director's Office for the consideration of charges. Conney said "nobody was charged out of it" initially, but added that prosecutors should be reviewing the case now.

WTF! Now you have to come home to a hot house!
What is the matter with people? The level of addiction? It must be high is you cut the freakin lines of a AC unit to get a buzz!
Just steal the copper like everyone else!

What a filthy broad. Leave her with the kids and she sucks off the A/C unit. REAL NICE.

http://www.norwalkreflector.com/... Treva Campbell ladies and gentlemen of the jury. This hereford is monitoring my posts now. She gets sentenced next week, so I'm letting her get it outta her system before she goes on vacation.

Doesn't this cause permanent loss of brain cells? She has obviously lost enough brain cells already if she is doing this in front of a group of witnesses. So now a 19 year old has turned themselves into a brain damaged addict. And is demonstrating a "how-to" to children entrusted to her care.

That is an interesting question. Wouldn't that be child endangering?

Well it tells me that a person that does this , has to much time on their hands and if they are a Minor , They need to betaken and shown what things like this can do to a humon being , I believe they have a couple words for it , I believe they call it Tough Love

ladydye_5

She is 19...not a minor. But if she has been doing it for anytime at all, she has killed a few brain cells off and probably ACTS like one. She better stop while she has a few left.

...hey, in my day the parents provided sitters with refreshments... perhaps a half dozen cans of whipped crème with nitrous oxide propellant would have kept her away from the plumbing...

Sarrak

If she was at Bouscay I'm sure she could have found a different use for the Whipped Creme.

I just can't fathom how messed up you have to be to think huffing Freon is a good idea and then even more incredibly actually go through with it. Your inhaling something that eats away the ozone layer of a planet. We as a specie have evidently failed in some form when teens are trying something so ridiculously dangerous. But there's only so much we can do, I mean when idiots are huffing Freon we have to draw a line and let Darwin take the rest.
