A Norwalk motorcyclist was charged with driving under the influence and failure to control in connection with a two-vehicle crash early Sunday.
The blood-alcohol content level of Tammy J. Clouse, 46, of 318 E. Main St., tested at .09 percent, according to the Norwalk Police Department. The legal limit for drivers in Ohio is .08 percent.
Clouse reported having possible injuries, but wasn't transported to the hospital after the Woodlawn Avenue accident at 12:46 a.m. According to Officer Timothy Skinner's report, the biker wasn't wearing a helmet and was partially ejected from the 1985 Honda bike.
Police said Clouse was southbound going about 25 mph in the 25 mph zone behind a white sport utility vehicle, which slowed for the railroad tracks and she was unable to stop before hitting the back of the truck. The unidentified SUV driver left the scene of the crash.
There was a skid mark near 42 Woodlawn Ave., but the report doesn't indicate the distance.
