Village officials are getting anxious to have Ohio 60 re-opened because two other major construction projects in Fitchville, west of town, will re-route traffic through the village, according to Village Administrator Shawn Pickworth and Fire Chief John Chapin.
Each project is expected to close the main routes for more than 90 days for construction projects on Ohio 162, a bridge, and Ohio 13, a guardrail replacement, Pickworth said.
Residents are also getting upset about the road closure in the middle of town.
