Huron County Public Health has scheduled the "drive-thru" seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccine clinics in Norwalk, Willard, New London and Bellevue.
Only adults will be vaccinated at the "drive-thru" clinics.
The Willard "drive-thru" clinic will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Willard Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 1609 S. Conwell Ave., Willard.
The New London "drive-thru" clinic will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, 432 Park Ave., New London.
The Norwalk "drive-thru" clinic will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30 at the Huron County Fairgrounds, 940 Fair Road.
The Bellevue "drive-thru" clinic will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the Bellevue VFW, 6104 U.S. 20 W., Bellevue.
"The Huron County Health Department 'drive-thru' clinics provide a convenient and quick way for area residents to get immunized in the comfort of their own car." said Chris Cherry, BSN, RN director of nursing. "The ease of getting the flu shot without having to make an appointment seems to be preferred by many people."
The cost of the flu shot will be $30 for adults. Traditional Medicare, traditional Medicaid, CareSource, WellCare, and Buckeye Health Plan are accepted. Some private insurance also are accepted. Call (419) 668-1652 to verify coverage or to make an appointment to get a flu shot.
