Norwalk City Schools officials recently have heard that several Norwalk public schools alumni have been deceived into an alumni membership through the site called “Norwalk Alumni.”

While this site offers things to you as a member, it is not the official school alumni association. Many people have paid the $10 (current special price) or $20, thinking it goes to and benefits the alumni association. It does not.

The association sees no money from this site whatsoever. The Norwalk Public Schools Alumni Association currently does not charge anything for membership.

The Norwalk Public School Alumni Association does take donations to help defray the cost of the “Norwalk Trucker Line” and the annual all-classes reunion. Such donations can be sent by mail to the Norwalk Public School Alumni Association, 134 Benedict Ave., Norwalk, Ohio 44857. Also, you can keep with the group on Facebook at “Norwalk Public Schools Alumni Association.”

If you have questions, call the district office at (419) 668-2779 and ask to speak with the superintendent’s office, or email Barb Widman at widmanb@norwalktruckers.net.
