Defendants in three separate drug-related cases pleaded innocent and received trial dates Monday.
Michael J. Creston, 30, of Sandusky, goes to trial Dec. 10 on possession of heroin. The fifth-degree felony is in connection with a May 14, 2012 incident. Creston told Judge Jim Conway he has a prior unspecified felony conviction, but isn't on probation now. He earlier posted 10 percent of a $5,000 bond.
Dustin A. Hanson, 29, of 206 S. Main St., Willard, has a Dec. 12 trial scheduled for possession of heroin in connection with a June 25 incident. Hanson, who has an undisclosed prior felony conviction, said he's on probation through Norwalk Municipal Court related to the same case. He wasn't on community control at the time of the suspected offense. Hanson is expected to be released from the Huron County Jail on Oct. 4 after serving a 30-day sentence.
Dwain C. Perry, 37, of 2425 Alpha Road, Greenwich, faces one count each of possession of marijuana and trafficking in marijuana in connection with a Jan. 29 incident. Perry, who is out on a $5,000 bond, has a trial date of Oct. 8. The defendant said he has a prior unspecified felony conviction.
