A Norwalk man was flown by medical helicopter to a Cleveland hospital after a serious-injury crash early Sunday on Townline Road 151.

Robert Stuckert, 43, was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix westbound on Townline Road 151 at about 12:57 a.m. near the Bronson-Norwalk conservation club, troopers from the Norwalk post of the state Highway Patrol said.

Stuckert lost control of the vehicle and swerved to his left, striking the Bronson-Norwalk Conservation League sign before striking a tree head-on.

Stuckert was transported from the scene to Fisher-Titus Medical Center and was later transported to Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center by LifeFlight.

Stuckert was not wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash, troopers said. His vehicle was towed from the scene by Dendinger's Towing.

Stuckert's condition could not be released Sunday, according to a Cleveland MetroHealth spokesperson.

Also assisting at the scene were North Central EMS and the Norwalk Fire Department.

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash, troopers said.

I would love to fill everyone in but there is another "person" named Joe who will just delete anything I post.

@Ispeed2_69: I do know Joe, and he is about as useless as a screen door on a submarine. If you doubt that-ask anyone who has dated him(or caught something from him)

Praying for you Joe .. for a speedy recovery from your injuries.

Robert Joseph Joey Joe...glad God said nope...not your time to go ....get better brother!

matt radcliffe

funny how no one ever has enough guts to say bad things about someone and not hide behind a screen name isnt it?

Scranton Tibbs

This must be your first day on here. Everyone "hides" behind a screen name because some people can't control themselves and handle someone disagreeing with them. Then it turns into a straight up white trash hilljack trailer park slug fest.

A grown man and father who should know better than to drive drunk, wreck a car, have charges against him that will cause him to lose his job. Too old to be making a big mistake like this. Thank GOD he only injured himself, not one of his children or anyone else.

ridermom

Yes drinking and driving is a bad choice, but to degrade him as a person because of a mistake made is immature. If i'm not mistaken he has raised his oldest two daughters on his own for many years now. So just because he made a poor decision that could of had worse consequences then they did does not mean his a bad person. As for him being as useless as a screen door because u dated him. what does that say for you and who you are to put that kind of comment on here, have some respect for other human being and stop being so classless.

Ehovemom

Just because you are a single parent (mom or dad), you should never drink and drive. Never, ever. And now he is old enough to be a grandfather. He better start making smarter decisions if he ever gets his license back.

Wildbunch3

He may have raised his oldest children, but not the youngest two.....and he sure isn't the "father of the year"! Yes, thank God he only hurt himself!!!

Betherella

I have no respect for someone who is selfish enough to make the decision to drink and drive. How can anyone think a person is a "good guy" when they don't even care about the lives of others? I will never understand why people stick up for people like this.

Tellithowitis

First of all he did have his seat belt on second of all he wasn't drunk. There's no need for people's negativity on here. Prayers for you joe you can get through this the norwalk reflector always has the wrong story and ruins the way a person looks at them.

Voipgirl

Haha....pretty much was drunk. Liar.
