Miss Ohio to visit Santa in Norwalk

In his last weekend in Norwalk on Dec. 15, Santa will get a special visitor Roberta Camp, Miss Ohio 2007. Camp, who won the Miss Ohio crown while representing Norwalk as Miss Maple City, can put in her request to Santa before she helps him greet visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Santa's house, 5 East Main St. December 15 will be Santa's third Saturday in Norwalk. He will also be on hand Saturday, December 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. All children are given candy and coloring books and everyone can enjoy free hot chocolate. Visitors are asked to bring canned food items to donate to the Salvation Army.

Roberta Camp, a student at The Ohio State University from Grove City, is working on a bachelor's degree in communication with minors in music and Spanish. She will compete for the Miss America title next January in Las Vegas.
