NEW LONDON - New London broke open a tight game at halftime and went on for an 89-56 win over Monroeville Friday in Firelands Conference boys' basketball action. The Wildcats, 2-1 overall and 1-0- in the league, are scheduled to host Seneca East Dec. 8, while the Eagles, 1-1 and 0-1, go to Seneca East today.

 NEW LONDON — New London broke open a tight game at halftime and went on for an 89-56 win over Monroeville Friday in Firelands Conference boys’ basketball action.

The Wildcats, 2-1 overall and 1-0- in the league, are scheduled to host Seneca East Dec. 8, while the Eagles, 1-1 and 0-1, go to Seneca East today.

Leading 42-34, New London outscored the visitors 27-9 in the third quarter and 20-13 in the fourth for the final margin.
