The Season 17 cast for ABC’s hit reality show “Dancing With the Stars” was revealed this morning on “Good Morning America.”

Among the 12 celebrities is actress Valerie Harper, who is best known for her role as Rhoda Morgenstern on the classic TV sitcom “The Mary Tyler Moore Show.”

Diagnosed with terminal brain cancer earlier this year, the 74-year-old Harper has exceeded doctors’ expectations and continues to be optimistic about her prognosis. She is paired with dance pro Tristan MacManus.

Also in this year’s cast is reality star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, known for her work on “Jersey Shore.” She is paired by Sasha Farber, a member of the DWTS troupe who is making his debut as a pro on the show.

Here is the rest of the lineup:

Disney star Corbin Blue, 24, who played Chad in the “High School Musical” movies, and Karina Smirnoff.

Brant Daugherty, a 28-year-old Mason, Ohio native who played Noel Kahn on the ABC Family series “Pretty Little Liars,” and Peta Murgatroyd.

Comedian Bill Engvall, 56, and Emma Slater, and DWTS troupe member who is joining the pro ranks for the first time.

Former NFL receiver Keyshawn Johnson, 41, and Sharna Burgess, who made her pro debut last season with comedian Andy Dick. He retired from football in 2007 after 11 seasons, and in 2009 became a television broadcaster for ESPN.

R&B and hip-hop singer Christina Milan, 31, and Mark Ballas.

TV personality Bill Nye, 57, known as “The Science Guy,” and first-time pro partner Tyne Stecklein.

Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, 41, known for playing brainy feminist Jessie Spano on “Saved by the Bell,” and Valentin Chmerkovskiy.

“The King of Queens” star Leah Remini, 43, and pro partner Tony Dovolani. She, too, had a role in “Saved by the Bell,” playing Stacey Carosi on the NBC sitcom.

Actress Amber Riley, 27, best known for her role as Mercedes Jones on the series “Glee,” and Derek Hough, who has captured four mirrorball trophies — including the one from season 16.

TV personality Jack Osbourne, the 27-year-old son of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne and wife Sharon, and Cheryl Burke. His sister, Kelly, placed third on DWTS during the fall 2009 season.

The season starts at 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16.
