A teen driver was charged with failure to yield in connection with a two-vehicle crash with injuries Sunday.

Gregory A. Palmerton, 18, of 58 Williams Ave., was turning left from a private Medusa Road driveway just after 11 a.m. Troopers with the state Highway Patrol said the driver failed to yield and pulled in front of the southbound 2000 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Michael C. Meinert, 29, of 1553 Greenfield Township Road.

Meinert went off the right side of the road, where troopers said the pickup truck rolled into a ditch.

The Townsend Township Volunteer Fire Department transported Meinert to Fisher-Titus Medical Center with minor injuries.

Both vehicles sustained functional damage and were towed from the scene.
