Illegally-set traps anger hunter

I recently ran into a situation while out coon hunting with my dog Nov. 11 on Snyder Road in Peru Township. I turned my 9-month-old pup loose and started walking in the direction that I thought she was going. But she made one bark off to the east of me and I did not hear her anymore. I stood there for about 15 minutes but all along I could hear a dog which I thought was a house dog barking. It sounded very muffled, so I started walking in that direction. When I got on top of a ravine I could make it out better it was my dog sounding as if it was suffocating. I found it in a body-gripping trap. By this time it was limp and no longer moving. I hurried and got it out and in a few minutes she came around. I called the O.D.N.R. and they sent somebody out and checked the body-griping trap. They confirmed it was illegal. This thing had a jaw spread of seven inches and if my dog would have been in for another five minutes it would have suffocated. This trap was on dry land, they are supposed to be completely submerged in water. We found three more close by.

I can not believe this is the only dog or other domesticated animal that you have caught in a illegal set trap.

I'm not much of a game eater but I love feral cat. Does anyone know where Judy lives? I'm on my way to Lorain for some cheap gas and I'd like a little snack before her husband turns off the gravy spigot.

BigD is ...... ...

by no means the same person as bigdog on here do not be confused by an imposter
