Allen R. Witucki has joined the United States Army under the Delayed Entry Program. The program gives young men and women the opportunity to delay entering active duty for up to one year. The recruit qualifies for a $23,000 enlistment bonus. Witucki, a 2006 graduate of Edison High School, has reported to Fort Knox, Ky., for basic training in September 2007. He is the son of Suzanne and James Witucki of Milan.

Garrett P. Bosely has joined the United States Army Reserve under the Delayed Training Program.

The recruit qualifies for a $20,000 enlistment bonus.

Bosely, a 2007 graduate of New London High School, has reported to Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C., for basic training in September 2007.

He is the son of Kathleen Diederich of Polk and Bruce Bosely of New London.
