Gary Austin Rash, formerly of Norwalk, has lost his home to a fire Tuesday.

The Milan home was destroyed in a fire that began in the garage. The cause is undetermined at this time.

Theresa Fisher, Rash's Aunt, stated that he has always been the type to step up and help out whenever necessary. She hopes that people will now lend a hand to support him.

Fisher has set up a fund to assist Rash in replenishing his household belongings, vehicles and personal effects of the family.

Monetary donations, in care of the Gary Austin Rash Fire Fund, can be taken to any Key Bank Center in Ohio or sent to Fisher at 8 Ridgewood Drive in Norwalk.

Donations for the fund will also be accepted at West Side Store at 288 W. Main St., Norwalk, which is owned by Rash's Mother, Dorothy Ruffer.
