A Bellevue man with a history of multiple drunken driving convictions going back 33 years has been charged again.

Daniel R. Clark, 49, of 6140 County Road 191, was stopped for and charged with speeding at 12:40 a.m. Sunday on Main Street near Kilbourne Street in Bellevue. Trooper Jonathan Weasner, of the state Highway Patrol's Norwalk post, clocked Clark going 37 mph in a 25-mph zone.

Clark, who was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), refused to submit to breath and blood tests, the trooper reported. Patrol records indicate Clark was convicted of DUI in 1980, 1985 and 1995 and twice in 1984.
