Here's your chance to get some music from Jamestown.

No, not the early American settlement Norwalk's Jamestown.

Husband and wife Dave and Jill James have settled into their musical act, writing music and performing their original songs the past few years.

The couple has released their first CD together, "With You," and plan a release concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21 at the Norwalk Theatre.

Jill James has opened for country recording acts Hot Apple Pie and Emerson Drive. She's also competed in the Colgate Country Showdown, winning the local, state and regional levels.

The couple currently hold the Ohio title in the Colgate Country Showdown, which seeks to find the most promising country music talent in America. It strives to give those performers a chance to launch their professional music careers.

Dave James has opened for numerous National acts, including Billy Ray Cyrus, Charlie Daniels, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Joe Diffie, Martina McBride and others.

Tickets are $5 for general admission and $10 for reserved seating. You can purchase tickets at the door, or during box office hours: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.[
