EHS names students of quarter

MILAN - School personnel recently named several students at Edison High School "Students of the Quarter." The students are: Amanda Hinojosa, art; Chris Schaffer, business; Kristen Sprowles and Kassie Barker, EHOVE; Elizabeth Matuszewski, Emily Leber, Ben Busdicker, Ryan Reber and Grant Coleman, language arts; Kaitlyn Davis and Amanda Johnson, foreign language; Becky Bedard, Jessika Otto and Danielle Wilhelm, health/physical education; Demi Fox, James Knittle and Cody Noon, math; Dominic Castillo and Heath Barron, music; Brianna Artino, Evan Cornell and Jeff Ortman, science; Ashley Pfeiffer, Stephanie Campana and Addison Spriggs, social studies; and Linda Burnworth, work and family life.

MILAN - School personnel recently named several students at Edison High School "Students of the Quarter."

The students are: Amanda Hinojosa, art; Chris Schaffer, business; Kristen Sprowles and Kassie Barker, EHOVE; Elizabeth Matuszewski, Emily Leber, Ben Busdicker, Ryan Reber and Grant Coleman, language arts; Kaitlyn Davis and Amanda Johnson, foreign language; Becky Bedard, Jessika Otto and Danielle Wilhelm, health/physical education; Demi Fox, James Knittle and Cody Noon, math; Dominic Castillo and Heath Barron, music; Brianna Artino, Evan Cornell and Jeff Ortman, science; Ashley Pfeiffer, Stephanie Campana and Addison Spriggs, social studies; and Linda Burnworth, work and family life.

The students received certificates of merit to acknowledge their accomplishment and will have their names posted in the student commons area for nine weeks.

The "Student of the Quarter" was initiated in 1990 by the Edison faculty and members of the Ohio Association of Public School Employees (OAPSE). The purpose of the program is to honor and acknowledge students who achieve significant success in various academic fields.
