A former Plymouth man accused of possessing cocaine was arraigned Tuesday in Huron County Common Pleas Court.

George A. Green, 39, is charged with one count of possession of cocaine in connection with an April 12 incident. If convicted, he faces six to 12 months behind bars.

Judge Jim Conway asked Green, who has no prior felony convictions, about a domestic violence charge on his criminal record.

“It was dropped down to disorderly conduct,” said Green, who appeared in court on a summons.

Out on a $5,000 bond, Green is subject to random dug screens. His trial is Oct. 10.
