EHOVE holding food drive

AVERY - A "Stuff the Bus" food drive to collect food for the needy is being spearheaded by SkillsUSA officers at EHOVE Career Center.

EHOVE Career Center and SkillsUSA are sponsoring the food drive until Nov. 12 to benefit the Norwalk Salvation Army.

The hope is to collect enough food to fill a school bus to deliver to the Salvation Army. The public is invited to participate by dropping off donations in marked boxes at the following locations: EHOVE Career Center Welcome Center, Pitstop Pizza in Berlin Heights, Apples Grocery store in Norwalk, Schild's IGA in Norwalk, Bassett's Grocery Store in Bellevue, Sandusky Dollar Tree and Gardner's SuperValu in Norwalk.

Food items that are needed are: Canned meats such as ham, turkey or chicken, canned vegetable, potatoes or sweet potatoes, stuffing mix, cranberries, cake mix, frosting, tuna, soup, puddings or Jell-O, cookies and Macaroni and cheese.
