Police are waiting for a statement from one of the people involved in a recent fight before forwarding a report to a prosecutor.

North Central EMS transported a 37-year-old Bellevue man to the Bellevue Hospital emergency room after an altercation early Sunday near the Subway Lounge. Bellevue police reported the "doctor was forced to sedate" him because he reportedly was being "disruptive, speaking loudly ... being uncooperative and using vulgar language" and had him transported to the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC).

"They reported that he had broken facial bones around his eye socket and there was a chance of him losing his sight in that eye," police said in a report.

UTMC spokeswoman Aimee Falk said the patient was discharged from the hospital Monday.

Officers Joshua Pickens and Tyi McCarley responded to the scene about 2:35 a.m. Sunday after they heard yelling coming from the area of the Subway Lounge. Upon arrival, the officers said they saw two male suspects on the ground fighting, with two other people standing nearby, and had to pull a 46-year-old Bellevue man off the 37-year-old man.

Witnesses said "a tussle broke out" in the bar in which the younger man hit another man in the back of his head and also reportedly grabbed a 38-year-old Bellevue woman's arm, which caused some bruising. The witnesses said two men dragged the attacker out of the bar after he refused to leave and once outside, he reportedly charged and punched the 46-year-old man, who in turn knocked his attacker "to the ground and continued to punch him," police said.

One of the men claimed he acted in self-defense after he reportedly was hit in the back of the head when he was outside. Police also said one of the men involved in the outside altercation accused people of kicking him in the face and punching him.

Three people told officers they wanted to press charges against the 37-year-old Bellevue man who went to the hospital, but the older Bellevue man declined to do so, police said.

Chief Dennis Brandal said Wednesday officers are waiting for a statement from one of the people before forwarding the matter to Bellevue City Prosecutor Dave Claus for the consideration of filing charges.

The true story is Paul went to subway to enjoy a beer and got sucker punched and jumped by the auugie, joey and Dominic Mira.that's the only way them losers can fight.if everyone was smart they would stay away from the subway lounge and the Bellevue beer dock that's where they all work at and hangout at.them kids are out of control ripping people off stealing from everyone. Just a bunch of pill heads.

VeniVidiVici

Were you there? Or are you only saying what you heard and want to believe to be true?

heyuguys

Isn't 75% of Bellevue pill heads?? Just read the news. Were these boys mentioned in the news? Have they ripped you off? What about this Souza character? Isn't he a pill head too?

djwebb1127

Souza isn't a pill head. He's a married homeowner who's had the same job for over 15 years. A job that does random hair testing. Those Mira kids are pill junkies who have been caught breaking into homes. Once Paul caught them, a reason they don't like him.

heyuguys

Can you prove this? Any of this? A lot of people are home owners and have had jobs for years AND hide their drug problem. You don't know facts! If Paul didn't like these people, then why did he CHOOSE to go into a bar that their family owns and stay there??? Hmmm, sounds like provoking to me...

djwebb1127

I don't know why Paul went there. I don't know why Paul likes to eat a meatloaf while he's waiting for a lasagna to cook. I don't know why he buys too many flowers and then spends the afternoon helping his neighbors plant them around their homes. I don't know why Paul buys skateboards for all the neighborhood kids. I don't know why he helps people get their stolen goods back when junkies steal from them.

ems246

sounds like this guy has a lot of spare money. are you sure he isnt dealing?

djwebb1127

Let me guess, you surround yourself with people who have awful senses of morality and humor.

Rocko

Is this modern day robin hood that you speak of the same paul that beat up and robbed an old lady then made a run for the border but got caught before he got there?

milf of 3

Yeah Dominic an Joey are worthless they steal an rob anybody.his dad auggie sticks up for them an allows them to be that way ,they never get into trouble or have consequences to face.I heard they where snitching.I wouldn't go to subway or beerdock they are dark an dingy jst like the help.

heyuguys

Have they ripped you off? Do you live in the home with his Dad and monitor his parenting skills? These days, parents can't control their children. And from what I can remember, one of them did go to jail before. Do you have proof they were snitching? Did you hear them snitch? Aren't all the bars in Bellevue dark and dingy and full of dingy people?

cccdj.

I wouldn't go to beerdock or the subway lounge or u might get jumped by the auggie Mira dominic Mira and joey mira .Go for a drink end up in hospital. Hope there business die and close up.both bars are a major part of with Bellevue's pil problem .it gets sold and bought there.

heyuguys

You can get jumped at any bar. Have you gone for a drink and ended up in the hospital? I'm sure you've ordered their pizza in the past and never had anything negative to say until this unfortunate incident happened, right? A lot of businesses in town are closing due to the economy... That's a FACT. Do you buy your drugs there, since you know so much about it? Last I heard, you buy pizza and beer there. Hmmm, I've never seen pills on the menu.

djwebb1127

Joey and Dominic Mira jumped a 14 year old boy, kicked his teeth in. They are pill junkies, Joey was snorting ibuprofin in the county jail after getting arrested, because he had no heroin and hoped to get a fix.

heyuguys

So, you were in jail with him and saw him snorting ibuprofen? You sound really UN-intelligent! Ibuprofen will not give you a heroin effect in anyway! It's a pain reliever, not a narcotic. Any idiot knows that!

djwebb1127

Which is why it's indicative of addict behavior. He just had to have something, anything to snort up his nose. Pretty lame. Not quite as lame as his many other exploits - B&E, assault on juveniles, wacking someone on the front and back of the head with blunt objects- but lame all the same.

ems246

did they send him to rehab? or maybe to jail for assault on juveniles

milf of 3

I heard Joey an Dominic beat up another guy just like that a few months ago. If they had to fight one on one they cldnt so I wldnt support any of this or the places they work at.they always pick on the drunk ones, lets see them do something to anyone else.one on one is one thing but 3 on one is another or maybe 4on one jst go to beer dock or subway an u will find out for urself

heyuguys

I heard, I heard, I heard... Sounds like a lot of people are hearing things in these past few days since the incident happened. I'm sure everything you hear in the truth in BELLEVUE. Go figure...

djwebb1127

Go figure, you're obviously either Joey or Dominic as nobody else wuld stand up for you guys.

BellevueMommy

even if this is the truth .it seems people are looking past the point that this is the owner and bartenders that are involved .their first thing is customer saftey.the guy must of beat their feet and hands up with his face .none of them got bruises , he got life flighted .every one knows this family is a waste of our oxygen..turning a blind eye only works for so long ...........bellevue junkies run wild

heyuguys

Did you ever stop to think why this was so bad? What did this guy to get his butt kicked like this? Did he provoke someone, threaten someone, put his hands on someone? From the article, states that he left marks on a female that night. If he is so innocent, then why is he putting his hands on another female that ISN'T his WIFE and leaving marks to the point where she wants to press charges?? Maybe this guy was high on pills and couldn't be controlled and the situation escalated. The paper DID say that he had to be sedated to be controlled. Sounds like a bit of withdraw gone wild.

known bellevuian

!

heyuguys

So what you're saying is... This woman's spouse put the bruises on her? That's not what her statement stated. If her spouse put the bruises on her, then why is she pressing charges on the wrong person? Sounds like a bunch of gossip to me. And you also stated in a previous comment, "I was there that night. I seen it all. Let me just tell you, when it all unfolds those of you who are blaming the only injured person, will feel like idiots." Well since you're a witness and was there during this fight, why don't you tell us what REALLY happened...

known bellevuian

!

heyuguys

OMG, only a liar would respond in this way. You were never mentioned in the paper as a witness. And who said it will be going to grand jury? More gossip in the great town of Bellevue!!

known bellevuian

The paper is not naming any witnesses. I came forward on my own to fill out a statement. I do not know paul or the miras.

ems246

sounds to me like you know by parties. in other comments you have made, it sounds like you know paul very well. just to set the record straight, the police WILL NOT ever tell you that a case that HAS NOT even been in front of a prosecutor will be going to grand jury. how can they? that is a lie you are telling

djwebb1127

Don't get Paul mixed up with the creepy wannabe gangsters who struck him with blunt objects and kicked him in the eyeball while he was on the ground shielding his head with his elbow. Paul is a married, hard working guy who has worked for what he has. He caught Joey breaking into his neighbors house. Paul's neighbor, I wonder whose side he's on.

heyuguys

Since you were there during both incidences and all... We all know Paul will try to make things out to be more than they are. As he ALWAYS does! Hey my friend, Paul is already mixed up with these creepy wannabe gangsters. That's why he was cut a deal when he snitched out his pill pusher and returned the stuff he stole from a family in Bellevue. Poor Paul, right?
