The St. Paul Flyers won the Firelands Conference outright Saturday night with a 21-6 win over Monroeville at Whitney Field.

The Flyers took a 7-0 first-quarter lead on a 62-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Eric Scwwieterman to Joe Graziani. Wes Stein added the extra point.

Monroeville's Nico O'Neil trimmed the Eagle deficit to 7-6 after he fell on a St. Paul fumble in the end zone.

St. Paul led 14-6 at the half after Schwieterman hooked up up with Adam Pugh on a 33-yard scoring play.

Matt Wilde added a 1-yard run in the fourth to complete the scoring.

St. Paul had already clinched a playoff berth coming into Saturday's game and it appears Monroeville has locked up one as well. Unofficially, the Eagles might travel to St. Paul for a first-round playoff contest at 7 p.m. Saturday.
