Neville's plan to give this city wide publicity

The name of Norwalk will be mailed into the governor's offices of every state in the union through a unique plan worked out by Joseph C. Neville.

Neville is sending a buckeye to every governor with the request that it be planted in honor of Ohio.

Norwalk and Ohio will receive little advertising out of this effort. The Buckeyes are neatly packed in small boxes. Attached is a red card bearing the following:

"Plant me. I am the Buckeye: I am from Ohio, the Buckeye State.

"If you will plant me in a pot now and in the springtime transplant me outside and give me a little care, I will try to grow into a fine tree in your state. My companions are emigrating to other states in the same way I came to you. Give me this chance and I'll give you shade. I a thankfully your servant the Buckeye.
