Ronnie G. Freeman Jr., 24, of 153 Whittlesey Ave., hit a deer Tuesday on Fitchville River Road.

Passenger Jared S. Wolfenbarger, 20, of 79 Plymouth St., Plymouth was charged with interfering with the driver in connection with the single vehicle crash Tuesday on Ohio 61. Driver Sarah J. Hoy, 19, of New Washington, went off the right side of Ohio 61 and overcorrected. She went off the left side and hit a ditch. The Dodge Stratus then overturned onto its right side. Plymouth EMS transported Hall and her 7-month-old passenger, Brooklyn N. Wolfenbarger, also of New Washington, to MedCentral Shelby Hospital with minor and possible injuries, respectively. There was no further information.

WAKEMAN POLICE

Responded to a Mechanic Street neighbor dispute over a barking dog complaint Oct. 1.

A Franklin Street resident reported a suspicious vehicle complaint with people standing on the complainant's property Oct. 2. The homeowner said the suspects had fled by the time an officer arrived.

Responded to an abandoned vehicle at the intersection of Railroad and North Hyde streets Oct. 2. Veron R. Jones, 20, of Huron, later was arrested and charged with underage consumption and obstruction of official business. He was released later that day from the Huron County Jail after posting bond.

Responded to a North Street neighbor dispute Oct. 2.

A West Main Street resident reported a possible prowler Oct. 2. An officer didn't find anyone while checking the area.

An East Main Street resident reported an unauthorized entry into her home Oct. 3. The incident remains under investigation.

Dispatched to a Pleasant Street domestic disturbance Oct. 6.

A Mechanic Street resident reported being assaulted by someone who fled the area Oct. 8. The incident remains under investigation.

Ryan Walters, 32, of Elyria, was arrested on a warrant Oct. 10 and charged with driving with a suspended license. He was released Oct. 12 from the Huron County Jail after posting bond.

Responded to a fight in progress Oct. 11 on East Main Street. The two suspects had separated by the time officers arrived and refused to pursue charges at the time.

Sonia M. Skorvanik, 19, of 102 Franklin St., Wakeman, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Oct. 11 and released.

Amy J. Murray, 24, of Wakeman, was charged with driving with a suspended license Monday and released.

NORWALK FIRE

Extinguished a trash pile and told the residents it was illegal to burn trash at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday at 7 S. Old State Road. Returned to station at 5:55.

NORWALK POLICE

A Gallup Avenue resident accused the 17-year-old son of a woman living with her of stealing a video game system Sept. 17 and selling it for $35 in Sandusky.

Reggienald D. Jackson, 57, of 50 Jefferson St., was charged with a stop sign violation Wednesday in the Cline Street Extension collision with the vehicle driven by Andrea Oney, 45, of 103 E. Ashtabula St., North Fairfield.

A Woodlawn Avenue business employee reported receiving harassing telephone calls Wednesday.

A Republic Street business employee reported someone slashed the driver side front and rear tires of his personal 1993 GMC Sonoma truck Wednesday.

A Cortland Street resident reported seeing two male suspects rifling through her car, which was parked on the street in front of her home Wednesday. The suspects fled when she opened the door. Nothing was missing, but the complainant's neighbor reported missing a prescription bottle from his unlocked 1992 Buick.

An Ohio Department of Transportation investigator reported being in Norwalk on Wednesday to investigate an allegation of inappropriate sexual conduct by an ODOT employee. The chief investigator provided information to a police captain about the suspected incident at a Norwalk business Tuesday morning. Christopher L. Kluding, 48, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on two warrants Wednesday and charged with sexual imposition and criminal trespassing. He was released after posting bond.

Sheila A. Rahr, 31, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on three warrants today and charged with failure to pay fines and costs on the original domestic violence conviction. She is serving a 20-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Dispatchers were advised of a distress alarm activation Wednesday on South Ohio 61, North Fairfield.

Reported seeing an open door at a U.S. 20 business Wednesday.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office reported having Brian W. Moore, 26, of Shiloh, in custody on local warrant Wednesday. He was charged with failure to report to jail. He is serving a 10-day sentence at the Huron County Jail.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office reported having Justin L. Trotter, 24, of Shiloh, in custody on local warrant Wednesday. He was charged with failure to appear for a Norwalk Municipal Court probation violation hearing. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

A DeRussey Road, Collins, resident reported her 15-year-old son was missing Wednesday and his bus driver didn't see him. A deputy later found the boy at an undisclosed location.

A U.S. 250 resident reported a loud music complaint Wednesday.

A Meadowview Road, Willard, resident called 9-1-1 to report being assaulted Wednesday.

A state trooper reported seeing an open door at Lyme Elementary on Wednesday.

A Peru Hollow Road, Willard, resident reported a trespassing complaint Wednesday.

A Kirkwood Drive, Willard, resident reported a suspected break-in after seeing an open door and lights turned on or off Wednesday.
