Bellevue man indicted in Erie County on fraudulent check charges

SANDUSKY An Erie County grand jury has indicted a Bellevue man in connection with stealing a checkbook from one man and using checks to pay another victim. A homeowner allowed Mark J. Czarnecki, 58, of 227 Kilbourne St., to stay with him for a while, but "then he asked him to leave," Erie County Assistant Prosecutor Vicki Palmer said. "The allegation was the checkbook was taken after he left the home."
