No citation was issued Monday after Walter R. Bring, 69, of Elyria, hit debris on U.S. 20 while he was heading east. The debris punctured a hole on the right side of his fuel tank.

Kandice R. McHenry, 19, of 4347 Hartland Center Road, Collins, was charged with failure to control Wednesday after she swerved to miss an animal on U.S. 20 and went off the right side. She overcorrected, re-entered the road, overturned and went off the right side of the road. McHenry hit an embankment, overturned again and the vehicle came to rest on its roof. She was not injured.
